The owner, Knute Olsen, has over 20 years of experience in commercial property management. He grew up locally in La Conner and is an Eagle Scout. Knute holds an AA degree from Skagit Valley College and a Bachelors of Business Administration from Gonzaga University. He is a certified RRP Lead Renovator as defined by WAC 365-230.

 

Knute started Cascade Ridge Painting because the demand for quality painters is high, but the trade unfortunately has a bad reputation for unprofessionalism, sloppy work, and lack of communication. It is recommended the homes be painted every five to ten years, not only for aesthetics but to protect the home as well. Many home owners attempt to paint themselves but get frustrated with the time it takes to prepare properly, the messiness involved, and the physical labor entailed. Then after all that DIY hard work, the home owner is not satisfied with the final product.

Knute enjoys many hobbies such as camping in his pop-up camper, fishing, bicycle riding, hiking, and staying involved with his local church.
